Movie Story

A retired Marines staff sergeant agrees to go back into duty with a group of Marines to evacuate some civilians trapped in an area invaded by an army of aliens.

Ahmed Al Kiremli Opinion

The story is similar to many other, older movies, but with some extra drama added to it. The story didn’t have too many twists, and the way the story was presented in terms of directing was very nice. Director Jonathan Liebesman crafted a realistic story. The way he showed the aliens was very realistic using silhouettes and digital effects. He didn’t want to focus on the external features of the aliens in order to make the movie more realistic.
There were no over-exaggerated extra effects in this movie. The beginning was a bit slow, but with the time it got more exciting. The sound mixing and cinematography were amazing. Leading actor Aaron Eckhart did a good job, and Bridget Moynahan is always lovely, but her role in this movie was small. Michelle Rodriguez always fits these roles.
